How long does a headshot session take?
Most individual headshot sessions take around 10–15 minutes per person, although this can vary depending on the number of images required and the style of photographs being created.
What should I wear for my headshot?
Choose clothing that reflects your profession and makes you feel confident. Solid colours generally work better than busy patterns or large logos. If we’re shooting on a white background, it’s best not to wear a white outfit, but a white blouse or shirt with a darker coloured jacket would be fine. If in doubt, bring a couple of options.
Do I need to know how to pose?
Not at all. Most people I photograph aren’t used to being in front of a camera. I’ll guide you through posing, posture, and expression to help you look natural and professional.
Can you come to our office?
Yes. I provide a fully mobile headshot service and bring a professional studio setup directly to your workplace, making the process convenient for individuals and teams.
How many people can you photograph in a day?
A typical half-day session allows me to photograph approximately 12–16 people. Larger teams can be accommodated by arranging a longer session.
Can I choose my favourite images?
Yes. Images are displayed live on a tethered iPad during the session, allowing you to review your photographs and select your favourite images before editing begins.
Do you retouch the photographs?
Yes, but I take a natural approach. I remove temporary blemishes such as spots and minor skin imperfections while keeping the image looking realistic and authentic.
How long will it take to receive my images?
Final edited images are typically delivered within one week via a secure private online gallery.
Do you only photograph against a white background?
No. While most clients choose a clean white background, alternative coloured backdrops or environmental portraits using your workplace can also be arranged.
What can I use my headshots for?
Professional headshots are commonly used for LinkedIn profiles, company websites, marketing materials, email signatures, speaker profiles, press releases, and social media.
